This section is for (almost) everything else, which is, at the moment, dominated by pine-needle baskets. Our current and recent former homes both have presented me with an abundance of fallen pine needles. I derive a great deal of satisfaction in making something lovely and surprisingly-sturdy from such humble materials. I have used raffia as a binder, but most often prefer waxed Irish linen thread. There is also a section for the fun I have had with logos for the Nevada County Fair. Another interest I have is in making jigsaw-style names out of wood. Recently I was asked to remodel the front of a sanctuary in New Jersey. The room was woefully outdated and I think we made substantial improvements.
